Description
A potent and fruity tiki cocktail featuring a blend of rums, citrus juices, and tropical flavors, perfect for Halloween or tropical-themed parties.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz light rum
- 1 1/2 oz dark rum
- 1 oz overproof rum (for float)
- 3/4 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz cinnamon syrup
- 1/2 oz grenadine
- 1/4 oz absinthe or anise liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Crushed ice
- Mint sprig and cherry for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
- Add light rum, dark rum, lime juice, grapefruit juice, cinnamon syrup, grenadine, absinthe, and bitters to the shaker.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Strain into a tall tiki glass filled with crushed ice.
- Float the overproof rum on top by gently pouring over the back of a spoon.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a cherry.
Notes
- Adjust the grenadine and cinnamon syrup to taste for desired sweetness.
