Description

This refreshing and fun snack is perfect for hot days! Watermelon is cut into fry-like sticks and served with a creamy coconut lime dip that’s sweet, tangy, and tropical. It’s a great healthy treat for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

For the Watermelon Fries:

  • 1 small seedless watermelon, cut into fry-shaped sticks

For the Coconut Lime Dip:

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt (or plain Greek yogurt with 1 tbsp coconut cream)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

  • Zest of 1 lime

  • Juice of 1/2 lime

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Slice the watermelon into thick rounds, remove the rind, and cut into fry-like sticks.

  • In a small bowl, mix together the coconut yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), lime zest, lime juice, and a pinch of salt until smooth.

  • Chill the dip for at least 10 minutes for best flavor.

  • Arrange the watermelon fries on a plate or platter.

  • Serve with the coconut lime dip on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra fun, chill the watermelon sticks before serving.

  • You can sprinkle a little Tajín or chili-lime seasoning on the fries for a spicy twist.

  • Use dairy-free yogurt to keep it fully vegan.
