Description

A classic Waldorf Salad made with crisp apples, celery, grapes, and walnuts, tossed in a light whipped cream dressing for a refreshing and slightly sweet flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Add the celery, grapes, and walnuts to the bowl with the apples. Toss gently to mix.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the sugar and a pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the fruit and nut mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve cold, optionally garnished with additional walnuts or grapes.
