Ingredients
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and add milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the tea.
- Heat the mixture on medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Stir in the honey or sweetener until dissolved.
- Pour into cups and garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness and cinnamon to taste.
- Use almond or oat milk for a vegan version.
- For a frothy texture, blend the milk tea before serving.
