Description

Turtle Lasagna Dessert is a rich and indulgent layered treat featuring creamy cheesecake, chocolate pudding, caramel, and pecans, all stacked over an Oreo crust.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 (3.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Additional whipped topping for garnish
  • Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.
  2. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread over the Oreo crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let sit for a few minutes to thicken, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Drizzle half the caramel sauce and chocolate syrup over the pudding layer. Sprinkle with half the chopped pecans.
  5. Spread an even layer of whipped topping over the top. Drizzle with remaining caramel and chocolate syrup, and sprinkle remaining pecans and optional mini chocolate chips on top.
  6. Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight to set before serving.

Notes

  • Make ahead for best texture and flavor.
  • You can use store-bought or homemade caramel sauce.
  • Try using peanut butter cups or toffee bits for variation.
  • Serve chilled for clean layers.
