Ingredients
-
1 lb ground beef
-
1 small onion, diced
-
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
-
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
-
1/2 cup milk
-
Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cups frozen tater tots
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
-
Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen vegetables, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
-
Pour mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
-
Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.
-
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
-
If using cheese, sprinkle on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
-
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
-
You can swap cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken or cheddar cheese soup.
-
Add a dash of garlic powder or Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
-
Great for meal prep—leftovers reheat well!
