- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes with green chilies and tomato sauce. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses on top. Cover and let the cheese melt for about 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Serve hot.
