Taco Sliders are mini sandwiches packed with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and taco toppings, served on slider buns—perfect for parties or casual dinners.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sour cream or taco sauce (optional)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened, then remove from heat.
- Cut slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.
- Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish. Spread taco meat evenly over them.
- Top with shredded cheese, then add tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños if using.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and oregano. Brush over the tops of the buns.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 5 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with lettuce and serve with sour cream or taco sauce if desired.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken as a leaner option.
- Sliders can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
- Top with guacamole or salsa for added flavor.
