Description

A refreshing and naturally sweetened iced tea infused with ripe peaches, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water and sliced peaches to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes until peaches are soft and fragrant.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and strain the mixture to remove peach solids (optional for a smoother tea).
  4. Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is still warm until dissolved.
  5. Pour the peach tea mixture into a large pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to chill thoroughly.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your taste preference.
  • You can leave the peach slices in for a rustic look and added flavor.
