Description
These homemade strawberry popsicles are a healthy and delicious frozen treat for kids, made with fresh strawberries and natural sweeteners.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
- 1/4 cup water or orange juice
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries.
- Place strawberries, honey or maple syrup, Greek yogurt (if using), water or orange juice, and lemon juice into a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
- Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.
- To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds.
Notes
- You can substitute Greek yogurt with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
- Adjust sweetness to taste depending on the ripeness of the strawberries.
- Add small pieces of chopped strawberries for texture.
