These Strawberry Kiss Cookies are soft, sweet, and bursting with strawberry flavor. Made with a strawberry cake mix and topped with a classic Hershey’s Kiss, they’re the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day, spring parties, or anytime you’re craving something fruity and fun!
Ingredients
-
1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
-
1/3 cup vegetable oil
-
2 large eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
24 Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped)
-
Powdered sugar (optional, for rolling)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a soft dough forms.
-
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Optional: Roll each ball in powdered sugar for a crinkle look.
-
Place the dough balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
-
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cookies are set and slightly crackled on top.
-
Remove from the oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
-
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
-
You can use white chocolate kisses, dark chocolate, or even the strawberry ice cream cone Kisses for an extra strawberry punch.
-
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
-
These cookies freeze well—just leave the kisses off until after thawing and reheating slightly.
