Description

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Parmesan Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Make the Parmesan Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Meanwhile, cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain pasta, reserving a cup of cooking water.
  4. Combine Everything: Slice the cooked chicken. Add the chicken and cooked pasta to the Parmesan sauce, tossing to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to thin it out.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
