Description

This Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip is a warm, creamy, and cheesy appetizer perfect for parties or gatherings. Made with fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, and a blend of cheeses, it’s effortlessly prepared in the slow cooker for a hands-off, crowd-pleasing snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts, drained and chopped finely
  • 8 ounces fresh baby spinach
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prep Slow Cooker: Lightly spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the minced garlic, chopped artichoke hearts, fresh baby spinach, ground black pepper, cubed cream cheese, grated mozzarella, and shredded Parmesan cheese into the slow cooker. Stir everything together until well combined.
  3. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or until the dip is fully heated through and all the cheeses have melted smoothly.
  4. Serve: Serve the warm dip immediately with your choice of pita chips, crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables such as carrot sticks and celery for dipping.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, cook uncovered for the last 15 minutes to allow some moisture to evaporate.
  • You can substitute frozen chopped spinach if fresh is not available; just thaw and squeeze out any excess liquid before adding.
  • This dip can be kept warm on the slow cooker’s low setting if serving over a longer period.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a mild spicy kick.
