Description

Tender, smoky, and fall‑apart slow cooker BBQ beef brisket perfect for easy entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 45 lb beef brisket, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced


Instructions

  1. Mix paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub all over brisket.
  2. Place sliced onion and minced garlic in slow cooker base.
  3. Put seasoned brisket on top of onions.
  4. Whisk beef broth, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire, then pour over brisket.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until meat is very tender.
  6. Remove brisket; let rest 15 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  7. Skim fat from sauce; spoon over sliced brisket or serve on the side.
  8. Optional: For a thicker glaze, transfer sauce to a saucepan and simmer until reduced.

  • For best flavor, refrigerate brisket overnight after rubbing with spices.
  • Leftovers freeze well—store meat and sauce separately.
