Description

A collection of warm, savory fall appetizer dips perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy evenings. These rich and flavorful dips feature seasonal ingredients like pumpkin, squash, and cheese, offering comforting and crowd-pleasing options.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh sage (or 1 tsp dried)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and sage until fragrant.
  3. In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, cream cheese, sour cream, sautéed garlic and sage, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheeses.
  5. Transfer mixture to an oven-safe baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm with crackers, sliced baguette, or veggie sticks.

Notes

  • You can substitute butternut squash puree for pumpkin for a twist.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicier version.
  • This dip can be made a day ahead and reheated before serving.
