A rich and creamy hot chocolate infused with decadent salted caramel flavor, perfect for cozy nights.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Pinch of sea salt, for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat until warm, but do not boil.
- Whisk in the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and sugar (if using) until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in the salted caramel sauce and vanilla extract. Continue to heat until the mixture is hot.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
- Top with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a pinch of sea salt.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

- Adjust sweetness by omitting or adding sugar to taste.
