Description

A rich and creamy hot chocolate infused with decadent salted caramel flavor, perfect for cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Pinch of sea salt, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat until warm, but do not boil.
  2. Whisk in the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and sugar (if using) until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the salted caramel sauce and vanilla extract. Continue to heat until the mixture is hot.
  4. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a pinch of sea salt.
