Description

A creamy and flavorful salmon pasta dish that’s perfect for a quick yet elegant meal. Packed with tender salmon, al dente pasta, and a luscious garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and flake into large chunks.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the cream and broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Return the flaked salmon to the skillet and stir gently to coat in the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
