Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1/3 cup Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread)

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon water

Optional: powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.

Spread Nutella evenly over half of the sheet.

Fold the pastry in half to cover the Nutella layer, pressing gently to seal.

Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips.

Twist each strip a few times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.

Brush each twist lightly with the egg wash.

Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and puffed.

Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
