Description

Pizza Sliders are mini sandwiches layered with pepperoni, mozzarella, and marinara sauce on soft rolls, baked to cheesy perfection for a crowd-pleasing snack or meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  3. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom halves of the buns.
  4. Layer with half of the mozzarella cheese, then add pepperoni slices evenly across the sliders.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and the rest of the marinara sauce.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on top.
  7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  8. Brush the butter mixture over the top of the buns and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use cooked sausage or veggies for different topping variations.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
  • For extra crispiness, toast the bottoms of the buns before assembling.
