Description

Miniature pizza-style sliders perfect for parties or an easy family meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 small slider buns (dinner rolls)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 mini pepperoni slices per slider (about 2436 total)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  3. Spread about 1 heaping tablespoon of pizza sauce on each bottom bun.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  5. Top with 2–3 mini pepperoni slices per slider, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the toppings.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  8. Brush the seasoned butter over the tops of the slider buns.
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown.
  11. Remove from oven, let cool 2–3 minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Make ahead: assemble sliders and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Customize toppings: swap pepperoni for cooked sausage, veggies, or shaved ham.
  • To make vegetarian, omit meat and add diced bell pepper or olives.
  • For extra melty sliders, add a slice of provolone or fontina cheese.
  • To freeze: bake, cool, wrap individually, and freeze; reheat at 350°F until warmed through.
