Description

Pizza Poppers are bite-sized snacks filled with gooey cheese and savory pizza toppings, wrapped in golden dough—perfect for appetizers or game-day treats.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 2-inch squares.
  3. Place a small amount of pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the corners up and pinch the seams to seal, forming a ball.
  5. Place the poppers seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite pizza toppings like sausage, mushrooms, or olives.
  • Can be frozen before baking—just thaw and bake when ready to serve.
  • Use crescent dough as an alternative to pizza dough.
