Penne Arrabbiata:
- 400 grams penne pasta

- 400 grams canned diced tomatoes (or fresh tomatoes, diced)
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving pasta water if needed.
- Heat the Olive Oil: Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté Garlic: Cook minced garlic until fragrant but not browned.
- Add Chili Flakes: Stir in chili flakes and cook for another minute.
- Add Tomatoes: Pour in diced tomatoes, simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Season the Sauce: Taste, season with salt and pepper.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss cooked pasta in the skillet with the sauce.
- Serve: Plate the pasta, garnish, and optionally top with Parmesan.
