Description

This rich and gooey peanut butter cup dump cake is the ultimate easy dessert! Made with layers of chocolate cake mix, peanut butter, and chopped peanut butter cups, it comes together in minutes and bakes into a warm, melty treat that’s perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

  • 2 cups chopped peanut butter cups (about 12 regular-size cups)

  • 1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted)

  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

  • Optional: vanilla ice cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly in the bottom of the dish.

  3. Dollop peanut butter over the condensed milk and gently spread it out as evenly as possible.

  4. Sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups evenly over the peanut butter.

  5. Pour the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the top — don’t stir.

  6. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, making sure to cover as much as possible.

  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is set and bubbly.

  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream if desired!

Notes

  • Try it with other candy like chopped Snickers or Reese’s Pieces.

  • For a crunchier topping, sprinkle crushed pretzels or chopped peanuts before baking.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave.
