Description

Peanut Butter Balls are a no-bake treat made with creamy peanut butter, sweetened with powdered sugar, and coated in rich chocolate—perfect for holidays or anytime snacking.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until well combined and smooth.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate using a fork or toothpick, letting the excess drip off.
  6. Place back on the parchment-lined sheet and refrigerate until chocolate is set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

  • Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
  • White or dark chocolate can be used for variety.
  • Chill the peanut butter mixture longer if it’s too soft to roll.
