Description

Craving a rich, chocolatey dessert but short on time? This one-minute microwave brownie is the perfect single-serve treat! It’s gooey, fudgy, and comes together with pantry staples in just a couple of minutes. No oven, no mess—just instant brownie satisfaction.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or melted butter)

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • Chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.

  2. Add the oil, water, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.

  3. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.

  4. Microwave on high for 60 to 90 seconds, depending on your microwave’s wattage. Start checking at 60 seconds.

  5. Let cool for a minute or two before digging in. Enjoy warm, straight from the mug!


Notes

  • Add a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top for an extra treat.
