Description

Nutter Butter Pie is a creamy, no-bake dessert featuring a crunchy Nutter Butter cookie crust filled with a smooth mixture of cream cheese, peanut butter, and whipped topping. This easy-to-make American classic pie is perfect for peanut butter lovers, offering a rich and indulgent treat with an optional chocolate drizzle for added decadence.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 24 Nutter Butter cookies, crushed (about 2 1/2 cups crumbs)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed

Garnish (optional)

  • Additional crushed Nutter Butters or whole cookies
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Nutter Butter cookies and melted butter until fully combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form an even crust. Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while you make the filling.
  2. Make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Carefully fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Assemble the pie: Spoon the peanut butter filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top evenly. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until the filling is set.
  4. Garnish and serve: Just before serving, garnish the pie with additional crushed or whole Nutter Butter cookies and drizzle chocolate syrup over the top if desired for an extra touch of sweetness and decoration.

Notes

  • For a richer pie, drizzle melted chocolate or warm peanut butter over the top before chilling.
  • You can freeze the pie for a firmer texture; let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before slicing.
