- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or chopped hazelnuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add Nutella, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or chopped hazelnuts before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture.
- You can use a store-bought crust to save time.
- This pie can be made a day in advance and kept refrigerated.
