Description

Nutella French Toast Roll-Ups are a delicious twist on traditional French toast, filled with creamy Nutella and rolled into bite-sized treats perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 8 slices of white sandwich bread
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Trim the crusts off the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
  2. Spread about 1 tablespoon of Nutella on each slice of bread.
  3. Roll each slice tightly into a log.
  4. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar.
  5. Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture, coating all sides.
  6. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook the roll-ups in the skillet, turning frequently, until all sides are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
