- 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together hot sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat grill to medium-high.
- Arrange wings on a baking sheet lined with foil and a wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through. If grilling, cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
