Description

Marinated Spicy Chicken Wings are packed with bold flavor from a fiery blend of spices, garlic, and hot sauce. Perfectly baked or grilled, they’re a crowd-pleasing appetizer or main for game day or parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together hot sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat grill to medium-high.
  4. Arrange wings on a baking sheet lined with foil and a wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through. If grilling, cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
