A delicious and healthy Maple Mustard Salmon recipe that’s sweet, tangy, and baked to perfection. Ideal for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, and minced garlic.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon or brush the maple mustard sauce evenly over each fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a more caramelized glaze, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes.
- You can marinate the salmon in the sauce for 30 minutes before baking for deeper flavor.
- This recipe pairs well with roasted vegetables or a simple green salad.
