Description

A delicious and healthy Maple Mustard Salmon recipe that’s sweet, tangy, and baked to perfection. Ideal for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, and minced garlic.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon or brush the maple mustard sauce evenly over each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a more caramelized glaze, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes.
  • You can marinate the salmon in the sauce for 30 minutes before baking for deeper flavor.
  • This recipe pairs well with roasted vegetables or a simple green salad.
