Description

These Loaded Cream Cheese Oreo Brownies are the ultimate indulgent treat. Fudgy brownie batter layered with creamy cheesecake and crushed Oreo cookies. Each bite is rich, gooey, and full of cookies and cream goodness.

Ingredients

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Add-ins and Toppings:

  • 12 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped (plus a few extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

  2. Make the brownie batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.

  3. Pour most of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, reserving about 1/4 cup for the top.

  4. Make the cream cheese layer: In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy and well combined.

  5. Layer it up: Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan. Gently spread it out. Drop spoonfuls of the reserved brownie batter on top and swirl it in using a knife.

  6. Add Oreos: Sprinkle chopped Oreos over the top and gently press them into the batter.

  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.

  8. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • You can use Double Stuf or regular Oreos—both work great.

  • For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake them.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temp for 2–3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
