Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 package instant lemon pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped topping.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- You can garnish with lemon zest or a few lemon slices for extra flavor and decoration.
- For a more intense lemon flavor, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the pudding mixture.
- Make sure the dessert is fully chilled to allow the layers to set properly.
