Description

Kool Aid Pickles, also known as ‘Koolickles’, are a unique Southern treat combining the tang of dill pickles with the sweet, fruity flavor of Kool-Aid. They’re vibrant, fun, and surprisingly addictive.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 jar (24 oz) dill pickles (whole or spears)
  • 1 packet Kool-Aid (any flavor, cherry is popular)
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickle juice from the jar into a large bowl.
  2. Add the Kool-Aid packet and sugar to the pickle juice. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Return the pickles to the jar and pour the Kool-Aid mixture over them until fully covered.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for 5-7 days, shaking the jar daily to redistribute the liquid.
  5. Once fully infused, serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use different Kool-Aid flavors for fun color and flavor variations.
  • These pickles get more flavorful the longer they sit.
  • Best served cold for maximum crunch and taste.
