Description

Jello Cookies are soft, colorful sugar cookies flavored with different varieties of Jello powder, making them fun, fruity, and perfect for kids or festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (3 oz) package flavored Jello (any flavor)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and Jello powder until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  6. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  7. Flatten each cookie slightly with the bottom of a glass or your palm.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set and bottoms are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
