Description

These Hot Honey Garlic Flatbread Pizzas are the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. Ready in under 30 minutes, they’re made with crispy flatbread, garlic-infused olive oil, melty mozzarella, and your favorite toppings – all finished with a drizzle of homemade hot honey. Great for a fast lunch, game day snack, or a no-fuss dinner.


Ingredients

For the Hot Honey:

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

For the Pizzas:

  • 2 flatbreads or naan

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken (rotisserie or grilled), shredded

  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or basil (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Make the hot honey: In a small saucepan, combine honey and red pepper flakes. Warm over low heat for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in apple cider vinegar. Let it sit while you prepare the pizzas.

  2. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place flatbreads on a baking sheet.

  3. Prep the base: In a small bowl, mix olive oil with minced garlic. Brush the mixture evenly over the flatbreads.

  4. Add toppings: Sprinkle mozzarella over the flatbreads, then top with cooked chicken, red onion, salt, and pepper.

  5. Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are golden.

  6. Finish & serve: Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with fresh herbs, if using. Slice and serve warm.


Notes

  • Add crushed red pepper on top for extra heat.

  • Swap chicken for pepperoni, bacon, or make it vegetarian with mushrooms and bell peppers.

 

  • Store leftover hot honey in a jar – it’s great on everything from fried chicken to biscuits
