- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Mixed greens, for serving
- Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, honey, hot sauce, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Add the shredded chicken, celery, red onion, and carrots to the bowl.
- Stir until all ingredients are well coated with the dressing.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve on a bed of mixed greens and garnish with chopped pecans or walnuts if desired.
