Crispy chicken tenders coated in a sweet and tangy honey BBQ sauce, perfect for a quick dinner or a game-day snack.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Place chicken tenders in a bowl with buttermilk and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Dredge chicken tenders in the seasoned flour, coating evenly.
- Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey and BBQ sauce. Heat over low heat until warm and blended.
- Toss the fried chicken tenders in the honey BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.
