Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Place chicken tenders in a bowl with buttermilk and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Dredge chicken tenders in the seasoned flour, coating evenly.
  5. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine honey and BBQ sauce. Heat over low heat until warm and blended.
  7. Toss the fried chicken tenders in the honey BBQ sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the honey BBQ mix.
  • Chicken tenders can also be baked or air-fried for a healthier option.
