- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup water (more if needed)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour and oats.
- Add peanut butter and eggs, then mix until crumbly.
- Gradually add water until the dough comes together and is firm but pliable.
- Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place treats on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
- Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
- Always check peanut butter label to ensure it doesn’t contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
