Description

A lighter version of classic ranch dressing, perfect for salads, veggies, and dipping, made with Greek yogurt and simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup low-fat buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, buttermilk, olive oil, lemon juice, and vinegar until smooth.
  2. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
  3. Whisk until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  6. Stir before serving and enjoy with salads, veggies, or as a dip.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
  • For a thinner consistency, add a little more buttermilk.
  • Use dried herbs if fresh aren’t available, but reduce the quantity slightly.
