Description
A lighter version of classic ranch dressing, perfect for salads, veggies, and dipping, made with Greek yogurt and simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, buttermilk, olive oil, lemon juice, and vinegar until smooth.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until all ingredients are well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Stir before serving and enjoy with salads, veggies, or as a dip.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
- For a thinner consistency, add a little more buttermilk.
- Use dried herbs if fresh aren’t available, but reduce the quantity slightly.
