Description

Harissa Baked Salmon is a flavorful and spicy dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated with a bold harissa marinade and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the harissa mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped herbs, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of harissa to your spice tolerance.
  • Serve with couscous, rice, or a fresh green salad.
  • Leftovers are great flaked into salads or wraps.
