Harissa Baked Salmon is a flavorful and spicy dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated with a bold harissa marinade and baked to perfection.

- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons harissa paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the harissa mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped herbs, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of harissa to your spice tolerance.
- Serve with couscous, rice, or a fresh green salad.
- Leftovers are great flaked into salads or wraps.
