Description

A simple and hearty one-pan dish made with ground turkey, potatoes, and spices. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  4. Add the diced potatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
  6. Uncover and cook for another 5 minutes to crisp the potatoes slightly, if desired.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use sweet potatoes as a substitute for regular potatoes.
  • Add bell peppers or spinach for extra vegetables.
  • Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
