Description

These grilled steak tacos are packed with smoky, juicy beef, fresh toppings, and bold Mexican flavors, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture onto the steak.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side.
  5. Assemble the tacos by adding steak slices to tortillas and topping with red onion, cilantro, avocado, and queso fresco.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
