Description
Grilled pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make dish with a savory, smoky flavor from grilling. The pork is marinated for extra flavor and tenderness, making it a perfect meal for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, paprika, pepper, salt, thyme, rosemary, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
- Place the pork chops in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using a gas grill, make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled.
- Remove the pork chops from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade.
- Grill the pork chops for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the pork is cooked through.
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a smokier flavor, you can use a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill.
- Adjust the grilling time based on the thickness of the pork chops.
- You can add a side of grilled vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
- Ensure the pork is cooked to the recommended temperature of 145°F for safety and optimal taste.
