Description

Garlic Butter Baked Salmon is a flavorful and tender dish featuring salmon fillets baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with herbs and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet.
  5. Top each fillet with a lemon slice.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon for best results.
  • Adjust garlic amount to taste.
  • Serve with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
