Description

A savory, cheesy stuffed bread filled with ground beef, bacon, and melted cheese, perfect for game day or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb chopped bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning
  • 12 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 (13.8 oz) can thin crust pizza dough
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar-jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, cook onions and ground beef until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add bacon back to skillet, season with steak seasoning, and stir in Velveeta until melted. Remove from heat.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough into a 15×10-inch rectangle on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Spread meat mixture over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar-jack cheese over the meat mixture.
  8. Roll up the dough jelly-roll style and pinch the seam to seal.
  9. Place seam side down and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
  11. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the dipping sauce and serve with the sliced bread.
