Description
An easy and quick method to cook frozen fish fillets in the air fryer, resulting in a crispy outside and tender inside without deep frying.
Ingredients
- 2 frozen fish fillets (breaded or unbreaded)
- 1 tbsp olive oil spray (optional, for extra crispiness)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Tartar sauce or desired dipping sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place the frozen fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the fillets with olive oil for added crispiness (optional).
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Thicker fillets may require 2-3 more minutes.
- Check that the internal temperature has reached 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges and dipping sauce.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
- Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness and type of fish.
- No need to thaw the fish before air frying.
