Description

An easy and quick method to cook frozen fish fillets in the air fryer, resulting in a crispy outside and tender inside without deep frying.

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen fish fillets (breaded or unbreaded)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil spray (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Tartar sauce or desired dipping sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Place the frozen fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Lightly spray the fillets with olive oil for added crispiness (optional).
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Thicker fillets may require 2-3 more minutes.
  5. Check that the internal temperature has reached 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges and dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness and type of fish.
  • No need to thaw the fish before air frying.
