Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 (10.5 oz) can French onion soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can beef broth
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium baking dish, combine rice, French onion soup, and beef broth.
- Add melted butter and garlic powder (if using), then stir to combine.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from oven, fluff with a fork, and season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- You can top with shredded cheese in the last 10 minutes of baking for a cheesy version.
- For a vegetarian version, use vegetable broth and vegetarian onion soup.
