Scale
- 12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
- 1 lb sliced deli roast beef
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 packet au jus mix
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the roast beef evenly over the rolls, followed by provolone cheese slices. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dried minced onion, and Dijon mustard. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
- Meanwhile, prepare the au jus by combining the mix with 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve sliders warm with au jus for dipping.
Notes
- You can use Swiss cheese instead of provolone if preferred.
- Sliders can be assembled ahead and baked before serving.
- Adjust seasoning in the butter mixture to taste.
