Description

A warm and spicy Fireball Apple Cider cocktail that combines hot apple cider with Fireball whiskey, enhanced with optional garnishes like cinnamon sugar, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise for a cozy, flavorful drink.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
  • 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey

Optional Garnishes

  • 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider
  • Cinnamon Sugar
  • Red Apple Slices
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Whole Star Anise

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate and dip the rim of the glass into it to wet it for garnishing.
  2. Coat the Glass Rim: Place cinnamon sugar on a clean plate and carefully coat the wet rim of the glass with it, ensuring an even layer without washing the liquid off.
  3. Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey into the glass slowly, taking care not to disturb the cinnamon sugar on the rim.
  4. Pour Hot Apple Cider: Add 5 ounces of hot apple cider to the glass; the drink will mix naturally as you pour.
  5. Prepare Apple Garnish: Stack three thin slices of red apple on a cocktail pick and fan them out. Position the pick so it rests at the front side of the glass.
  6. Add Final Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick on the opposite side of the apple fan inside the glass and add a couple of whole star anise for extra aroma and presentation. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra flavorful experience, ensure the apple cider is hot but not boiling before adding.
  • The garnishes are optional but add an attractive and aromatic touch to the cocktail.
  • Adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey to taste if you prefer a stronger or milder drink.
  • Use fresh red apple slices to prevent browning and enhance presentation.
  • This cocktail is best served immediately while hot.
