Scale
Main Ingredients
- 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
- 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey
Optional Garnishes
- 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider
- Cinnamon Sugar
- Red Apple Slices
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Whole Star Anise
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate and dip the rim of the glass into it to wet it for garnishing.
- Coat the Glass Rim: Place cinnamon sugar on a clean plate and carefully coat the wet rim of the glass with it, ensuring an even layer without washing the liquid off.
- Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey into the glass slowly, taking care not to disturb the cinnamon sugar on the rim.
- Pour Hot Apple Cider: Add 5 ounces of hot apple cider to the glass; the drink will mix naturally as you pour.
- Prepare Apple Garnish: Stack three thin slices of red apple on a cocktail pick and fan them out. Position the pick so it rests at the front side of the glass.
- Add Final Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick on the opposite side of the apple fan inside the glass and add a couple of whole star anise for extra aroma and presentation. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For an extra flavorful experience, ensure the apple cider is hot but not boiling before adding.
- The garnishes are optional but add an attractive and aromatic touch to the cocktail.
- Adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey to taste if you prefer a stronger or milder drink.
- Use fresh red apple slices to prevent browning and enhance presentation.
- This cocktail is best served immediately while hot.
