Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers and sauté until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  5. Stir in cream cheese, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined and creamy.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle provolone and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use thinly sliced ribeye for a more authentic Philly steak flavor.
  • You can add mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Serve with a side salad or over rice for a complete meal.
  • To make it spicier, add red pepper flakes or jalapeños.
